Ft. Lauderdale Gulfstream Chapter Meeting –  Wednesday, August 8, 2012. The meeting will be held at Champps Americana, 6401 N. Andrews Ave, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Time: 5:30 PM Networking,
6:00 – 8:00 PM Dinner & Seminar. The  Presentation Title – FLORIDA PAINTERS APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM, PRESENTER; Jeff McGinley – Program Director. The program will provide painting companies with a means to train their existing and future work force and provide the painter with a formal educational program that will lead to career advancement and documented credentials.

Why, you ask, do I need my painters trained? Isn’t “On the Job” training enough?
The answer, my friends, is what do you expect from your painting business?

If you do not care if you are in business 2-3 years in the future, then do not bother to invest in your labor, which is an extension of you. If, however, you would like to own a professional, successful business, provide a quality product to your customer base, with the newest, most effective products, equipment and techniques, then you should ensure the success of your business by keeping your workers trained in the use of the latest equipment and products. Please join us for this dinner meeting.  RSVP to Tom Curran 561-358-7158 or FAX 561-455-4727  or email: thomascurran316@comcast.net

Jeff McGinley, President of Florida Training Services, will speak to us about the need for apprentice training.
Please make every effort to attend.
